The Crowning Glory Clear Hat Boxes Story, Cont.
"Our product is a unique, elegant and sturdy, crystal-clear hat box. We hand make each one. After meeting with Doug and talking about our business, he did some research and then presented us with a plan that he was convinced would reward us with new clients directly through search engines.
He explained that the work would not yield results immediately, that it would take from 6 months to a year to get good search engine rank. But it didn't! We started getting orders for our boxes from the internet in our fourth month.
One of our orders was from the Walt Disney corporation. They wanted a very special hat box to display a commemorative, jewel-studded "Mickey Mouse Hat" that was to be auctioned for charitable purposes. It was displayed on the Oprah Winfrey show in our Crowning Glory Clear Hat Box! We were simply electrified.
Recently, the Queen of England has purchased hat boxes from us, well, we have had orders now from all over the world. "... reluctantly, I agreed to let him try. He told me it would take close to a year before I really began to see results, but I started making sales for the first time through real search engine results in my fourth month!
One of the items I was interested in selling was the Webkinz Gift Baskets, because I had experienced some success selling them on eBay and they are a hot commodity right now. Doug did some of his SEO magic for me in this regard and I enjoy the #1 position in google for the search.
I just checked my rank again today for "quality gift baskets" which is one of my most generic keyword phrases and discovered I am now on page 1 google for that keyword phrase, too!
I am also so happy that I can manage my online store myself. It is really easy. I needed some help the first few weeks, but I'm a real pro now, I guess. I no longer need to call and ask for help, but I know that they are there and will answer the phone quickly if I do.
Doug says I should have excellent rank for our choice targeted keyword phrases next Christmas season, and I will be working to be ready for the all the new business.
